DESCRIPTION:Cock and Ball Torture is surprisingly popular among people who possess them. Considering that while growing up\, most of us were taught that you just didn’t hit boys (or other people with penises) there\, it can come as a bit of a shock when your partner (play\, romantic or otherwise) wants you to do so. DESCRIPTION:What does it mean to be a Dominant? \nHow does being Dominant in the bedroom differ from being Dominant in a relationship? \nHow can you gain the confidence to become the Dominant you want to be? \nThe Discovering Dominance Workshop will explore these questions and more. As a group\, we will discuss what Dominance means to us. We will tackle common roadblocks to Dominance\, and specific issues members of the group are having. \nWe will discuss the purpose of rules within a D/s relationship and how to create rules that work. Since each person and relationship is different\, we will cover different styles of rule-making\, including Dominance without rules. Participants will also learn how to create meaningful rituals and protocols to reinforce the D/s dynamic in a way that works for them. \nMany people find that using archetypes can help them connect with their dominance and break away from stereotypes\, especially in the beginning. We will identify common Dominant archetypes and create some of our own\, as needed. \nFinally\, we will delve into the concept of service in BDSM. What is service? How do Dominants accept and receive service? What is in it for the submissive? The 1950 school experience in the USA is similarly romanticized in many dirty dreams so that we will draw from that misremembered history as well. Get out your rose-tinted glasses and prepare your sense of nostalgia for a trip through the “good old days” that inspire so much play today. \nA big part of the appeal of school role-play is the unique and interesting implements used. Some are common in kinky circles\, such as canes or straps. Others you may not be as familiar with\, such as birches\, switches or the tawse.
