Kinky + Poly: Incorporating Polyamory and Power Exchange Workshop Description
Into or interested in both polyamory and power exchange? Worried it will never work? Don’t worry, it can and does work for many people in both the kink and poly communities every day! It’s a little more complicated than just doing one or the other but both poly and kinky people seem to love complicated (myself included)!
We will start at the beginning, a quick overview of the basics of polyamory – this workshop is designed for the kinkster wanting to add poly. You will get some definitions and ideas of different styles of poly so that you’re better able to choose a relationship structure that works best for you.
Next up are some ideas about how to broach the subject with an existing or potential partner as well as advice on how to negotiate your ideal arrangement. We will then get into the nitty-gritty of poly & kinky arrangements, the practical side to how all this works. Wrapping things up with some troubleshooting, both general issues that people encounter like jealousy or conflicting rules, as well as questions from participants.
This workshop is presented in gender-neutral terms and does not assume the gender/sexual orientation of participants or relationships in general. Everyone is welcome, both single and partnered.
