Speculum Fun Component Description:

A Speculum will allow us to look into parts of the body that are normally closed off to us. They are used to gain access to the body’s nooks and crannies. While just about everyone with a vulva will have some experience with a speculum in a medical setting, they can be much more interesting when used in a BDSM Medical Play setting. Everyone can enjoy some speculum fun with the help of this component of the Medical Play Intensive Workshop!

Learn how the speculum works and how to use one effectively. Discover the possibilities with the many different types of speculum. From the traditional – and more obscure – vaginal speculum to anal, nasal and even eye speculum, the uses for play are only really limited by your imagination.

We will discuss how to incorporate a speculum into your medical play. Get ideas on how to perform your own kinky pelvic exam or rectal exam.

Proper cleaning and care of your equipment will be discussed in detail.

Speculum Fun Component Length:

This component is 45 minutes in length, including time for demonstrations and questions.

This class cannot be shortened as the subject matter involved takes time to learn and demonstrate.

This component is only available through the Medical Play Intensive Workshop at this time.

Speculum Fun Component Details:

This class is best suited to groups of 10 – 25 people.

The workshop generally involves demonstrations on live models. If nudity is an issue, this part of the workshop can be left out and a suitable demonstration can be substituted.

The Speculum Fun Component is presented in gender-neutral terms, in recognition that not all people conform to a gender binary. This class is a safe space for LGBTQA people, attendees are expected to respect that.

The Speculum Fun Component has an optional PowerPoint presentation, to help visual learners. A screen and projector are required for this option.
